November 2016 Publisher's Letter 2

Hey Neighbor,

Welcome to Cape Coral Lifestyle!  We are a community magazine whose mission is to bring the “Good News” of our city to you each month. Last year my family moved to Cape Coral from up North for the palm trees and warm weather. Fast forward a year and we’ve decided to stay because of its people! I’ve heard it said many times that our city has a “small town feel” and I couldn’t agree more. I’ll admit to putting on make up, just to run up the road for a gallon of milk, because I’m sure to see a familiar face.

Each month we will be highlighting the awesome residents, charities and businesses that make this city great! Feel free to give us your input. Do you have an amazing story to share? Let us know. Having a fundraiser or charity event? Send us the dates for our monthly calendar. Cape Coral Lifestyle is for you! This magazine is free to our community and completely sponsored by our wonderful business partners. I hope that you will support them by shopping local and “Keep it in the Cape!”

Next month you will meet our editor Stephanie Karasek. Stephanie has called Cape Coral home for almost 20 years. She loves to travel, enjoys fine food and wine and loves all things beach. (She’s also an insane Green Bay Packers fan.) Stephanie will be bringing you great content about our town each month.

We may not have a typical November in SW Florida, with brisk air and crunchy leaves, but Fall is here. I used to have a sign I would hang (that my husband hated) that said “It’s Fall Y’all”!!!! I’ve always loved fall because it’s the start of the holiday season. Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. What are you thankful for?  I hope this fall your list of blessings is longer than your worries. I’m thankful for the fantastic team we have on board and the opportunity to visit your home each month.

Thanks for reading and if you see me around town, introduce yourself! I look forward to running into you all. (I just hope I’m wearing my makeup!)

Stay Sunny,
