THE CAPE CORAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CCCIA) ANNOUNCED DATES FOR 2017 EVENT
The Cape Coral Construction Industry Association (CCCIA) announced the dates for the 2017 event which highlights the best builders in Cape Coral and invites the public to experience over 25 unique model homes over three weekends. This year’s Showcase will take place Friday through Sunday: January 20th – 22nd, January 27th – 29th & February 3rd – 5th 2017.
“Each year, the showcase shines the spotlight on the best builders in Cape Coral to illustrate the highest levels of quality in the design and construction demonstrated by every participant,” said CCCIA Executive Director Bill Johnson Jr. “Collectively they all contribute to the growth of Cape Coral year in and year out.”

BEYOND KINDNESS: HOME DEPOT’S $52K+ GIFT TO LIFELINE FAMILY CENTER
On Wednesday, September 21, Lifeline Family Center was honored to open its doors to Team Depot, a collection of giving Home Depot employees, as they arrived from across the U.S. to help with two kitchen rehab projects, valued at more than $52,000.
Lifeline Family Center is a maternity home in Cape Coral for women (ages 16-22) in unplanned pregnancies. 2016 marks Lifeline’s 20 year anniversary of serving southwest Florida. The 18,000 square foot complex includes two separate homes, plus a Learning Center, nursery, chapel, boutique and administrative offices.
Those from Home Depot Interiors’ Atlanta headquarters who lent their expertise included General Manager Michael Albrecht, Director of Operations Andrew McGillivray, National Manager – Lead Generation Scott White, in addition to SE Divisional Installation Manager John Atti, along with district coordinators from across the U.S., and sales reps and contractors associated with the local Home Depot.

Creighton Commercial Development and Construction hosted the fourth annual 7-Eleven Red Fish Rodeo on Sept. 30, raising more than $30,000 to benefit Wounded Warriors of South Florida. More than 100 anglers and 30 boats participated in the fishing tournament, supporting the Wounded Warriors of South Florida’s efforts to assist wounded veterans and families.

GULF COAST VILLAGE’S NEW CYBER-CYCLE TAKES SENIOR FITNESS TO A VIRTUAL LEVEL

The bicycle was recently implemented at the community’s wellness center, kicking off Active Aging Week at Gulf Coast Village, which took place Sept. 25 through Oct. 1.
