Kid Golfer, Kevin Kelly, is a rising star

Twelve-year-old and U.S. Kid Golfer, Kevin Kelly, of Cape Coral is a rising junior golfer. Picking up his first club at the age of two, this lefty golfer has played in over 130 tournaments and has won numerous medals and awards, traveling all over Southwest Florida and other states to participate in local, regional, state and world tournaments. Kevin has great passion and dedication to his game and hopes to one day play professional golf!

Kevin has played for U.S. Kids Golf since he was eight-years-old. He participates in the Tampa, Naples and Sarasota local tours. Kevin placed first in the Tampa local Spring tour, placed runner up in the Naples Local Tour in 2017 and will be going to play in the U.S Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst, NC in July.

Kevin attends Challenger Middle School where he plays on the golf team. Kevin took first place in both the Area and Regional meets and was named School Champion Golfer of the Year in 2017. He is pictured with his school coach Ms. Sandra Rayannic.

Kevin is proud to call Coral Oaks his home golf course. He has been participating in the junior golf clinics, free to junior golfers on Saturday mornings from Oct-May, as well as, the summer golf camp since he was five years old. In October, Kevin will be competing for the first time in the Cape Coral City Championship sponsored by RE/MAX Realty Team where Kevin’s mother, Amy Kelly, is a local realtor.
